TV installation requires an RBQ issued license (ref. 17.2), only those licensed are legally allowed to install your television. This offers you the "only" protection available if work were to be improperly done. Insurance does not.
All work done is covered by a 20,000$ Caution directly controlled by the licence bureau of the RBQ (regie du Batiment).
